Hi, I'm JeongJin.
I am an industrial-organizational (I-O) psychologist and an Assistant Professor of I-O Psychology at the University of Oklahoma. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, my master's degree from Yonsei University, and my PhD from George Mason University.
Broadly speaking, I am interested in what shapes individuals' performance behavior and well-being in the workplace, as well as the why's and how's. More specifically, my work primarily focuses on these three interconnected areas:
Person–situation interactions, with a particular emphasis on situation (e.g., situational strength and substance characteristics),
Job attitudes and affect/emotions (e.g., work engagement, job boredom)
Individual work performance behavior (e.g., task performance, counterproductive work behavior, and organizational citizenship behavior)

Prospective PhD students:
I plan to admit a PhD student in I-O Psychology for Fall 2026. I welcome applications from conscientious, curious, and proactive students who are active learners and problem-solvers.
