Hi, I'm JeongJin.
I am an industrial-organizational (I-O) psychologist and an Assistant Professor of I-O Psychology at the University of Oklahoma. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, my master's degree from Yonsei University, and my PhD from George Mason University.
My research examines the cognitive, affective, and social processes that shape individuals' job performance and well-being in the workplace. Specifically, my work primarily focuses on these three interconnected areas:
Person–situation interactions, with a particular emphasis on situation (e.g., situational strength and substance characteristics),
Attitudes and affect/emotions at work (e.g., work engagement, job boredom)
Individual work performance behaviors (e.g., task performance, counterproductive work behavior, and organizational citizenship behavior)

Prospective PhD students:
I plan to admit a PhD student in I-O Psychology for Fall 2026. I welcome applications from conscientious, curious, and proactive students who are active learners and problem-solvers.
