Ceramics -

since the spring of 2019, I have also started making ceramics and try my hand at different shapes and colors. Mostly I hand throw and create various utensils and tableware, but I also experiment with free sculpture with a penchant for insects.

Painting -

in painting, I vary between acrylic and watercolor. The motifs are usually connected to nature in one way or another, but I also have some portrait paintings that I made to order from customers. The acrylic painting allows for strong colors and sharp contrasts, and my paintings are often colorful with a tone of blue to correlate with my attraction to the sea and tranquility.

My watercolor painting is about taking advantage of the fleeting in the feeling of color and for me the watercolor fits best in expressing water and sea. Sitting with the oceans as a backdrop and picking up different inspiration from what I can find by the beach is the best opportunity for me to work with this technique.
