*For the last several years I have stayed home with my son full-time. He needed extra help getting ready for school because of a language delay and issues with sensory processing and emotional regulation.  In addition to what he was getting from his speech and preschool teachers, I worked with him everyday.  I worked very diligently, bringing all my natural (and learned) gifts for patience and teaching to the task. I am happy to say that we were able to send him to kindergarten ready to succeed. He's a second grader now, enjoying school, and doing well. I know that none of this would have been possible for him without my direct (and timely) contribution to his early learning.
