Stream Water and Lead Sampling

Today was the last day we were going to our stream sites. I took my daily measurements and then also took my water samples. As I was taking the Ph a woman from the busniess next to the brook came over to ask me what I was testing. I told her about GIV and the work I was doing. Something that has stuck with me is how she mentioned she's never seen this river so low before. When I did my habitat assesment I also thought the river looked very low. It was helpful to get that insight from her. Even though I had only been visiting the brook for a few days now part of me felt sentimental about leaving. I was able to be focused when I was there and enjoyed the tests.
