Econ 6730 Microeconometrics (graduate) 2025
This course surveys various methods employed in cross-section and panel data. Most of the topics first have a lecture(s) focusing on the theory and intuition underpinning the technique. The following class is a discussion of related papers and how the papers employ not only the method but also the econometric challenges the authors faced. The goal is for students to develop a readily available econometric toolbox for future research endeavors and to understand the various methods common in the literature and why and when to employ them.

Econ 3710 Introductory Econometrics 2025 - 2026
This course introduces the fundamental tools and concepts of econometrics, emphasizing their practical applications in empirical economics. Students learn how to analyze economic data, estimate economic relationships, and evaluate economic models using real-world examples and datasets. By the end of the course, students have the tools to be able to: (1) understand and apply the basic principles of econometric analysis; (2) interpret regression models and their assumptions; (3) identify and address issues such as multicollinearity, heteroskedasticity, and endogeneity; and (4) critically evaluate empirical studies.
