I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department of Iowa State University.
I graduated in May 2024 with my Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at the University of Virginia, where I was awarded the Snavely Prize for Best Dissertation. I received my M.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia in 2019 and my M.A. in Economic Theory from ITAM, Mexico City in 2018. I received my B.A. in Economics and a minor in International Studies from Boston College in 2015.
Research Fields: Industrial Organization, Applied Microeconomics, Applied Econometrics
(1) Nash-in-Nash bargaining models and related model extensions where passive beliefs are relaxed
(2) welfare implications and estimation in two-sided markets
(3) role of advertising in media and digital markets
My research combines practical relevance and theoretical contribution, especially in the economics of advertising and two-sided markets.
