Ph.D. Candidate

 

I will join the Economics Department of Iowa State University in Fall 2024 as an Assistant Professor.

I graduate in May 2024 with my Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at the University of Virginia. I recieved my M.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia in 2019, and my M.A. in Economic Theory from ITAM, Mexico City in 2018. I received my B.A. in Economics and a minor in International Studies from Boston College in 2015.


Research Fields: Industrial Organization, Applied Microeconomics, Applied Econometrics

 

My research agenda focuses on:

(1) Nash-in-Nash bargaining models and related model extensions where passive beliefs are relaxed

(2) welfare implications and estimation in two-sided markets

(3) role of advertising in media and digital markets

My research combines practical relevance and theoretical contribution, especially in the economics of advertising and two-sided markets.
