Jena M. Gregory

I’m currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Mathematics and Statistical Science with Interdisciplinary Applications at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and will graduate in May 2026. As a non-traditional student, I bring with me a rich tapestry of life experience, from raising a family to navigating a 25 year teaching career.

My husband, Lance, and I have been married for 30 wonderful years and are the proud parents of four incredibly talented grown children Alex, Susanna, Alyssa,  and Ximena, each of whom are my best friends.

Whether in the classroom, at home, or in the community, I approach life with determination, perseverance, and dedication.  I believe it’s never too late to start something new and I hope my experience encourages others to reach for their goals.
