Reading Level Project for Ojibwe Language

• Collaborated with other immersion schools in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota.
• Developed assessments based on Indigenous Language instruction and tradtional teaching models.
• Contribution of developing the prototype proctor scoring methods and reader sample passages.
• Completed the project in one school year (2018-2019) with a team.
• Goal is to have a compreable reading assesment to guage written literacy while staying in the target langauge (Ojibwe) rather than resorting to English assessments to maintain immersion settings.

Queering Indigenous Language

• Ongoing (?) series in Native American focused educator conferences, to expand vocabularies in high to full immersion academic settings for LBGTQ2S+ youth and educators.
• Upcoming presentation at the NIEA conference in October 2019.
