Dr. Jehad Ali (PhD, Computer Science and Engineering, Senior Member IEEE) is currently working as Professor at Department of AI Convergence Network, Ajou University, South Korea. Previousely, he was working as an Assistant Professor at Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering Sejong University, South Korea. Before that he has worked at the Department of AI Convergence Network at Ajou University, South Korea as  a Research assistant professor. Dr. Ali did Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from the Department of Computer Science/Engineering, Graduate School, Ajou University, South Korea, followed by a Post-doctorate from the Department of Computer Sciences/Engineering, and the Department of AI Convergence Network, Ajou University, South Korea.

Mr. Ali has teaching experience to graduate MS/PhD international students and undergraduate Computer Science/Engineering students. Besides teaching, Dr. Ali is actively performing research and has published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers in various jouranls such as IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Internet-of-Things magazine, IEEE Access, Sensors, Electronics, Applied Sciences, PloS One, etc., with a cumulative impact factor of more than 150 according to JCR 2021. Dr. Ali has a patent and has published three book chapters as la leading author. Mr. Ali has participated in and presented in IEEE and other prestigious conferences such as MobiSys (ACM), IEEE ICNC, IEEE IEMCON indexed by Scopus, DBLP, and Google Scholar and was held in the University of British Columbia Canada,  Spain, and the  United States of America. 

Dr. Ali is working as an Academic Editor for different SCIE journals such as Telecommunication Systems Springer Nature, Editorial board of Computer Communications Elsevier, Associate Editor of PeerJ Computer Science (UK), Computer Systems Science and Engineering TechScience, Computers Materials and Continua, and Frontiers in Computer Science Journals. Moreover, Mr. Ali has been working as a Lead Guest Editor of several special issues in different SCIE journals such as Computers, Materials & Continua,  Sensors, Intelligent Automation and Soft Computing, and Electronics. Mr. Ali has been peer reviewing papers for prestigious journals such as IEEE Transactions on Industrial informatics, Springer Wireless personal communication journal the Netherlands, IEEE ACCESS, IEEE Sensors, PloS One, Sensors, Electronics, Sustainability, Applied Sciences, Computer Networks (Elsevier), and IEEE communication Letters, etc.

Dr. Ali has chaired sessions (Session Chair) in different International conferences such ICUFN 2021, and ICNGC 2021 held in Jeju Island South Korea. A session chair in ICCCN 2022 (Which will be held in Manchester UK), ICACC E 2022 in Cyprus. In addition, Dr. Ali is in TPC of various IEEE conferences.

Dr. Ali research interests include but are not limited to Software-Defined Networking, Extending it for 5G/6G issues, and improving QoS with SDN, Internet of Things, Wireless sensor networks, and applications of machine learning in Communication, Networking, and Healthcare.
