For English & Western High Point: You MUST compete in Showmanship AND a rail or pattern class to be eligible.
Showmanship will be used as a high point tie breaker for all awards except gymkhana, Barrels will used as a gymkhana tie breaker for each show.
Series tie breaker: Total Showmanship points from both pleasure shows will be used for English & Western, Total Barrel points from both gymkhanas will be used for gymkhana.
High Point is based on one horse/one rider combination.
Ribbons will be awarded 1st – 6th place in all classes at all shows.
A small daily high point may be awarded at each show for each discipline. NOTE: prizes can vary by age group and division.
Those participating in Walk/Trot classes may not participate in Canter/Lope classes with the same horse except for Gymkhana
Walk/Trot high point will only be awarded if we receive donated items for those classes.
Showmanship will be after Walk/Trot for all shows, if no walk trot contestants it will be after English.

Please contact show management with any concerns or comments. Please respect our volunteers and not approach them with your comments or concerns - Show management as well as the CSU Colorado 4-H Extension Staff are more than happy to assist you. The sooner you bring any concerns or comments to our attention to more likely it is that we will be able to resolve your issue. Arguing with the judge or show management, bullying and/or inappropriate language could be grounds for dismissal from the show and all points will be forfeited.
Warm up arena is also used for staging for the next class. Share the space, no loping in arena.
