I love America.
Much like many Mainers, I love America and what it represents. My father was a Marine, along with his brother, and their father was a Sailor in the Navy. Like many others in my family, we have served America across generations and have strived to live up to what President Kennedy said: "Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country."I stand for the dream that the Founding Fathers had for the United States of America: a nation where all Americans have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. By holding true to the principles our Founding Fathers laid down, we can create a better Maine that will last for generations. The state of our country can be frightening when we look at what needs to be fixed, but history has proven that real change is possible. We can achieve good, lasting progress if we put our minds and hearts to it.
I love Jesus Christ
I have not been a Christian my whole life despite being raised as one when I was younger. When I got older and finished high school I started to think more deeply about it. I had a more developed mind and decided to examine Christianity with no bias. The more and more I learned about Jesus and the more tangible proof I found just cemented my thoughts that Christianity was in fact correct.
I decided to try going to church one Sunday in 2025 and chose the First Baptist Church in Bath. I immediately loved the church itself and the congregation that attends. I now am a trustee for my church and helping it continue its two century lifespan.
