Who is Jed Rice?

Hello! My name is Jed Rice. I am a lifelong resident of Bath and have always had a deep love for this community and the people in it. I grew up with my mother, brother, and sister, and I learned a lot about what it means to be a good man and to stand up for what is right.After finishing high school, I joined the Marine Corps Reserves so I could return home to Maine and begin building my life here. But now that I was older and it was my turn to make my way in the world, I realized that the Maine of my youth was not the Maine we live in anymore.I decided it was my responsibility to run for office and help my fellow Bath residents create a community we can all be proud of—one that will last for generations. I believe in being a voice for the people. A position in government is nothing more than a way to bring what the people want to the state level. Maine needs many things, but I am determined to...

• Fix our schools so our children our being given the best education

• Make Bath affordable for young families to start and the elderly to enjoy their retirement

I don't believe in looking at a person and seeing Republican or Democrat. I see another Mainer who deserves the best life they want to live. I'm running Representative of Bath and would love your support to create a better future.
