Jeanne Hager Burth, EdD, is a retired Associate Professor of Teacher Education at the University of Pittsburgh, a former teacher of Special Education, Elementary, and Gifted Support, and an elementary principal. Burth has published several articles about students with disabilities and quality professional development and a book to assist persons with disabilities become more independent: Transitioning from School to Adulthood: Practical Activities for Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Other Disabilities.
