Jeanne Bomare
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the London School of Economics - International Inequalities Institute, and a research fellow at the EU Tax Observatory and at Skatteforsk - Centre for Tax Research. I obtained my PhD from the Paris School of Economics under the supervision of Gabriel Zucman.
My research lies at the intersection of public economics and real estate economics and relies on public policy evaluation to understand how international tax regulations shape local housing markets and social inequalities. I have a particular interest in offshore real estate and international tax evasion, and I conduct projects studying the determinants and consequences of offshore real estate ownership and evaluating the impact of tax policies on individual and corporate tax noncompliance.
In 2021-2022, I was visiting the London School of Economics, under the sponsorship of Daniel Reck. During the 2023 Spring Semester, I was visiting UC Berkeley invited by Gabriel Zucman.
