Experiences Summary

Below is a description of all the relevant work experiences I had in the past couple of years.

Firsly, I worked as the assistant manager at American Yatch Club in Rye NY. It was an amazing experience since I got to work with the sport I am passionate about, tennis, while also learning how a real business works, and helping the manager with multiple tasks.

Secondly, joining the Student Managed Investment Fund has been one of my goals for a while. I accomplished that goal this Fall, and I have gained massive experience in Finance and investing. I got certified by Bloomberg Market Concepts, learned how to fully analyze a company, find intrinsic value of a stock, and more. Also as the Economist for the fund I also got to work with three more classmates and give weekly presentations to the whole class about market news, such as GDP, unemploymet rates, inflation, and more. Overall I have enjoyed working at the fund, and I am also going to be a part of it in the Spring 2021 so I am looking forward to it.

I am a tutor for all business classes for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. I really enjoy working with these students and help them figure out challenging concepts in their classes. This is the perfect job for me since it helps me review classes that I took a while ago, in that way the content is always fresh in my mind. In the end the students I teach end up teaching more than I teach them.

Lastly, I worked as a Full-Time intern with Standish Management during Summer 2021 in Dallas, Tx. As an intern with Standish, I familiarized myself with how Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Real Estate funds operate, through fund administration. I worked with three main clients under Standish in the Real Estate sector, Private Equity sector, and oil and gas industries. I analyzed and uploaded financial and client information into recorkeeping system. I also analyzed over 160 financial statements for retail investment properties under a Real Estate client every month. I successfully initiated $1M+ in bank wires to investors and other clients. And I proficiently operated finance/accounting softwares such as Excel, QuickBooks, Pereview, and etc.
