Hello, my name is Jeanette Pardo and I am currently a high school senior at West Mesquite High School. I am involved with almost every after school club that West has to offer including, crime-stoppers, interact club, TSA, BPA, Student Council, Texas Future Musician Educators, the class of 2020 social officers, and photojournalism. I also have leadership positions within those clubs including but not exclusive to President of crime-stoppers, vice-president of Student Council, Concertmaster of top Varsity Orchestra, etc. I am currently interested in the communications field and love to create video content and am practicing those skills by producing my high schools morning announcements. In those morning announcements I collect all of the schools announcements, get all of my equipment ready, find a good background around the school. After all of that I record all the announcements as the anchor and then go back to the classroom to edit them and then I play them on the schools overhead system. I also practice my skills by making videos for both an advanced video production class and for competitions. I have a lot of hobbies which include baking, cooking, sewing, makeup, photography, videography, also playing the violin, guitar and learning new instruments and learning new languages. I am a national competitor in both TSA 2019 conference and in BPA 2020 conference, in both competitions I competed in video production competitions. I am also a TSA state competitor in fashion design. I also have 3 years of experience in customer service.
