What is JDub?
What is JDub?
JDub is the student ministry (6th-12th grade) of John Wesley United Methodist Church. The name JDub comes from JW — the initials for John Wesley. We took the "W" and gave it a little personality...W became Dub.So JW became JDub. But JDub is more than a name. JDub is a place where students connect with friends, trusted adults, and Jesus.
The past two years we have welcomed St. Andrew UMC into our group and have started to use the JDub name to also mean J - for James Island and Dub W - for West Ashley the two areas in Charleston, SC that most of our youth live.
Our biggest hope is that JDub is the place where students and families feel welcomed. Our goal is that each youth is seen and heard as they explore the Christian faith and discover what it means to be transformed as they become a disciple of Jesus Christ.

@ JDub, students don't have to pretend, have all the answers, or figure life out alone. They have a place where they can be themselves, be known, and belong.
