The main moto of this department is to increase the knowledge of the students not only that but also the subject Home Economics is to be useful how to live in the society and home also. It is also useful to get self employment in the student’s future life.
In the Educational session 2016-17 Department of Home Economics organized the inauguration function on 12/09/2016 This function was organized under guidance of Dr. R.M.Bhise Principal, J.D. Patil Sanguldkar Mahavidyala, Daryapur.For the Inauguration function the Chief guest was Dr. Seema Kene (Gov. Hospital Daryapur. )
The Hon’ble guest addressed & guide to the student’s on the topic “ Health Promble and Nutrition Promblem ”. The President of the function was Dr. R.M.Bhise Who gives valuable guidance, topic was on How to Upgrade the Subject Knowledge for Getting Self Employment” Home economics subject is a enhance subject to student life.
On dated 26/12/2016/ the students of the student of Home Economics department one day workshop was organized by our department on self employment. In this workshop Sau . Aakansha Deshmukh Daryapur gives the training and skills on “Embroidery Work” by this work, student can also learn how to do micro work & studies.On date 08/10/2016 students of our department organized educational visited to Matoshri Vruddhashram Bhankheda Dist, Amravati . The student learned about condition of the old person (Vruddha) be discussion more about that in the field with Vruddha The student also visit M.I.D.C. Amaravati textile mill and Reshim park Badnera In that visit time students try to aware to pregnant women and their problems. They also gives some suggestion that the facilities are available for them by the Government.
Other activities also conducted by this department otherwise teaching work, like seminar, Rangoli Competition, Chart Competition, flower making, greetings, menu cards, Anand Mela Programme etc.
Above all that activities are performed under the guidance of principal, respected Dr.R.M.Bhise

The Hon’ble guest addressed & guide to the student’s on the topic “ Breastfeeding and Cancer,” The President of the function was Dr.D.S.Thakre Who gives valuable guidance, topic was on Increase the Subject Knowledge and other activity, for Getting Self Employment” Home economics subject is a enhance subject to student life. Chief guest was Dr.Pooja Chandak in her lecture on breastfeeding and cancer said that this disease can affect women above 20 year age .Cancer menstrual problems and he also gave guidance on breastfeeding. On dated 03/08/2019 Department of Home-Economics organized one day work shop on Sanitary Napkins shri Sachin Athawale during the Demostration ,informed about the benefits of using sanitary napkins ,health problem,problem with of use of cloth and bacterial infections.
On date 21/09/2019 department organized One day Training Workshop on self employment Trainer in this workshop miss ku. Kadambari Solanke, ku. Nikita Hole and prof. Pratiksha Barbade ,made Ceramic and Micron related atem gave information related to them . On dated 04/09/2019 Department of Home-Economics on going to Ratnabai High School Daryapur home-economics students and prof. dr. Pusate Madam guided 8 to 10 adolescent girls on the topic of Diet and Health on the occasation of World Nutrition Week .On dated 30/12/2019 Department of Home-Economics organized Guest Lecture Prof. Dr. Sarika Bodade Ramkrushan mahavidyalaya Darapur, guided the students on this subject. On dated 03/01/2020 Department of Home-Economics organized Savitribai Fhule birth anniversary was celebrated.
Conducted Food and Nutrition Certification Course from 12/08/2019 to 31/10/2019 for our college students for 30 hrs. with 40 lectures within 12 weeks. Guided them and even provided more practical knowledge about food and nutrition
Other activities also conducted by this department otherwise teaching work, like seminar, Rangoli Competition, Chart Competition, flower making, greetings, menu cards, Anand Mela Programme etc.Above all that activities are performed under the guidance of principal, respected Dr.D. S. Thakare

The Hon’ble guest addressed & guide to the student’s on the topic “Food & Nutrition advice for adults during the covid -19 for Staff & students . He explains all the points in simple language, the conversation with student was cheerful and students responded cordially to him inspiring and motivating knowledgeable lecture.

On date 05/10/2018 students of our department organized educational visited to Chornala bara khola (Shivar) Through this tour students malnutrition problem . In that visit time students try to aware to Child and pregnant women and their problems. They also give some suggestion that the facilities are available for them by the Government.

On dated 25/12/2016/ the students of the student of Home Economics department one day workshop was organized by our department on self employment. In this workshop Prof.vidhya tayade madam gives the training and skills on “Mehandi Work” by this work, student can also learn how to do micro work & studies.

At that time around 26 students and 3 teachers of J.D. Patil Sangludkar Mahavidyala ,Daryapur was present. the students & other teachers also gave guidance to the slum area people they also teach the standard of living. The Village people also ask some questions and their problem related to food and Nutritions. On this day Dr. Jyotsna Pusate, guided to slum area people and how nutritional deficiencies can be prevented by giving information
