Microteaching Requirements

This page showcases the journey I went through in microteaching the selected strategies in Units 3 - 6. I have included the microteaching videos, lesson plans, and coaching feedback that I have received.

Microteaching Videos

Below are the four microteaching demonstration videos I produced. I am fortunate to be currently teaching so I invited my students to participate in the microteaching demo. The experience was a blessing to me as I used my existing lessons and through this microteaching requirement, I saw how I could enhance my lessons further using the strategies we were studying. 

Lesson Plans

Before I did my microteaching, I first prepared lesson plans which showed me how I could apply the strategy in question. Supposedly, I would submit my revised lesson plans based on my groupmates' feedback. I never received their feedback in time, so I would end up revising my lesson plan based on my own observations. However, this was also a blessing as it enabled me to really dig deep into my teaching experience and find out what I could do better.

Coaching Feedback

After creating a lesson plan and conducting the microteaching session, the next step was to post our videos in a forum and ask our groupmates to coach us. I learned a lot from their coaching, and it was wonderful to hear many positive comments about my demo.
