Firstly, we will be collecting funds through yard waste collection. The town of Dedham recently made a change to the pickup schedule, leaving residents with bags of yard waste sitting at the curb for weeks. With the rain we've had this year, those bags are rapidly deteriorating. For $2 per bag, we will pick up and dispose of those unsightly bags weeks before curbside pickup through the town resumes. Taking place over the weekend of August 26 to 27th. To schedule a curbside pick up appointment, simply see our "Contact and Payment" section below. With a simple text or email, all those grotesque brown bags can be vacated from your yard!
My second fundraiser will be a Bottle & Can Drive on September 9th, taking place at the VFW Post 2016 on Eastern Ave. The drive will immediately follow the Run for the Fallen, which is taking place that morning at Memorial Field, next door from the Post. From 12pm-3pm, members of Troop 7 Dedham will be stationed outside the VFW eagerly waiting to count up and bag whatever you've got to drop-off for us! I know I personally can't wait to get the millions of cans out of the back of my car.
My tertiary option for collection of donations will be through a GoFundMe! With the help of my mother as the administrator of the account, I'll be accepting all forms of payment through this online service. By opening a crowdfunding campaign, I streamline the donation process for both locals who may not have the means or the cans to otherwise support, and for those within my extended family who nearly all live abroad. Regardless of whom ultimately donates, this final method opens up my options greatly when it comes to accessing and acquiring funds. While it is not at-all required, it would be greatly appreciated by myself and by the entire Avery School community if those who've read this far would consider donating. The process is as easy as clicking on the GoFundMe logo to your left and visiting the site there! Thank you graciously for both the time and consideration you've given my project by visiting this site - I hope you'll be able to support this tremendous effort in whatever way is possible.
We appreciate all kinds of support, so donations can be made using cash, card or check (Checks must be made out to Troop 7 Dedham)
