Philosophical and Theoretical Perspectives Related to Research

My problem of practice is to examine ways that artificial intelligence can be used to create conversational forms of assessment in a three-dimensional science instructional sequence. This strand will review literature related to science pedagogical practices, including three-dimensional learning, constructivism, and assessment. Strand D will focus on technologies within the science classroom, including general technology integration and more specific emerging technologies such as machine learning and natural language understanding. Both Strands B and D serve dual purposes. They involve a review of literature and they speak to the placement of my problem of practice within areas of emphasis (4) STEM Education and (5) Teaching and Learning with Technology respectively.
