As consideration to be received by the Joint Development Authority, its participating local governments and their residents, each Applicant must agree to the following public benefits.
Applicant must agree to maintain its business in Athens-Clarke County or the City of Winterville for a minimum of two (2) years after receipt of a grant;
Applicant must agree to tell the story of how grant funds were used and their impact on the business’s workforce, including, without limitation, by:
Providing the JDA with a simple report of same one (1) year after receipt of a grant; and
Participating in Athens-Clarke County’s ARPA in Athens Highlight Series. The podcast series, presented by the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia, provides a closer look at how millions of dollars in pandemic recovery funds are being used to support local families, businesses, and neighborhoods.
