PTA 2020-2021

Hello JCS families,

Who would have thought that when school began September 2019 that our children's educational experience would have changed so dramatically? Nevertheless, we are thankful to have served as the executive board during such a successful year. The JCS PTA hosted JCS' first special assemblies in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and Black History Month as well as workshops centered on fitness, health and mental well being and sponsored a holiday gift drive for two local families. None of this could have happened without you, the parent membership!

As the school year comes to a close, we have received more information about PTA elections and functioning that we'd like to briefly share: as of July 1, 2020, the JCS PTA will cease to function. Once guidance is released from the chancellor's office on how to hold elections virtually, the school's administration will oversee the voting for a new board for the 2020-21 school year. While this is not an ideal way to say goodbye, we wish you all a safe and pleasant summer, until we meet again!
