Our Full Cosmetology Program is a comprehensive, state-approved course designed to prepare aspiring beauty professionals for a successful career in the salon industry. Spanning all aspects of cosmetology, this immersive program combines in-depth theory with hands-on practical training to ensure students graduate with the knowledge, confidence, and skills required to thrive behind the chair.
Throughout the program, students will gain expertise in haircutting, coloring, styling, chemical services, skincare, and nail technology, while also learning the fundamentals of salon safety, client care, and business practices. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students will practice on mannequins and real clients in a supportive, salon environment.
Upon completion, graduates will be fully prepared to sit for the Connecticut State Board Exam and launch their professional careers as licensed cosmetologists.

Textured Hair Training Requirements
Within the allocated hours above, students will receive specialized training in providing services for individuals with textured hair. This includes
understanding curl and wave patterns, hair strand thickness, and varying hair volumes. These hours are distributed as follows:

This course provides students with a comprehensive foundation in professional makeup artistry based on the Milady Standard Makeup curriculum. Students will develop technical, artistic, and professional skills required for entry-level work in salon, spa, retail cosmetic, and freelance makeup environments.
Through a combination of theory instruction, demonstration, and hands-on application, students will gain an understanding of skin analysis, product chemistry, color theory, facial anatomy, corrective techniques, sanitation practices, and client consultation. Emphasis is placed on safe practices, professionalism, and adapting techniques to meet diverse client needs.
Students will apply industry-standard techniques to create a variety of makeup looks including natural/day, evening, corrective, bridal, and special occasion applications. Instruction includes product selection, tool usage, blending techniques, contouring and highlighting, lash application, and finishing techniques that enhance longevity and wearability.
