Heidi is a certified teacher with the State of Connecticut and has been an educator for over 25 years. She is also a licensed cosmetologist, barber, and esthetician, bringing a unique blend of academic expertise and hands-on industry experience to her work. Her passion for both education and hairdressing led her to develop innovative programs that blend technical skill development with real-world readiness.

Throughout her career, Heidi has held leadership roles in career and technical education, supporting hundreds of students and professionals in achieving their goals. She has extensive experience in curriculum development, teacher training, and student competition programs at both the state and national levels.

As the Co-Founder and Director of Education at JCRS Hair Academy, Heidi is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment where students build confidence, master their craft, and prepare for successful careers in the beauty industry. Her vision is to empower the next generation of stylists not only with strong technical foundations, but also with the business savvy and professionalism needed to thrive in today’s beauty world.

Together, we bring over 40 years of combined experience in education and the beauty industry. Jessica is a licensed Barber, Cosmetologist, salon owner, and passionate educator with over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry. As the owner of Jessica’s Color Room in Cromwell, Connecticut, she has built a thriving salon business known for its high standards, strong client relationships, and commitment to ongoing education. Jessica’s leadership, creativity, and hands-on approach have made her a respected mentor to both new and experienced stylists.

Driven by her desire to elevate the next generation of professionals, Jessica co-founded JCRS Hair Academy with the goal of bridging the gap between beauty school and the realities of salon life. She brings invaluable real-world insight to the program and ensures that students are learning the latest techniques, tools, and trends in a dynamic and supportive setting. As Director of Operations, she oversees recruitment, community partnerships, and student engagement, helping every individual feel connected and career-ready from day one.
