Tyson Ervin has been detailing automobiles for two years, starting his own business as The Detailing Kid. He also works with Castle Cleaning Solutions. Both of these detailing companies will come to you and detail your vehicle for a great price.
Tyson got his first car when he was 15 and purchased all the things needed to clean it out. He started cleaning his family’s cars and then moved to detailing the cars of friends and neighbors. This continued to grow into a social media presence, allowing him to detail cars all over.
Tyson said it's challenging to be self-employed because it is difficult to create a stable income and business while maintaining school and a job, but he encourages young people to "just go for it" if they are hoping to run their own business. He says, "You never know how good it will turn out, and the support from friends and family is amazing."
