I am a PhD student in the Mathematical Physics group at the Delft University of Technology. My PhD is a 6-year track with extra teaching duties. Currently I am in my 4th year of the PhD. My research interests are on the combination of Machine Learning and Data Assimilation. In particular, I am interested in the use of Multi-Fidelity methods as they can preserve some of the accuracy of the full model, while obtaining a speed-up from the low-fidelity surrogate model.
