JBT is a mobile application designed to help basketball teams manage their reservations. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the JBT app.
When you use JBT, we may collect the following types of information:

Email address: Used for account authentication and communication.
Real name (optional but recommended): Used to identify you within the basketball team.
App Usage Information
Camera access: Required to scan QR codes for reservations and check-ins. We do not store or share your camera feed.
Reservation details: Information related to your court reservations and team participation.
Technical Data
No technical data is collected.
We use the information collected for the following purposes:
To authenticate users via email.
To allow users to create and manage reservations.
To identify participants by their real name (if provided).
To scan QR codes for team reservations using the camera.
To improve the app experience through analytics and crash reports.
To communicate important updates related to the app and your reservations.
Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase and Firestore.
We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties.
JBT does not process payments within the app.
Any payments related to reservations are handled outside of the app.
We only share your data in limited circumstances:
With Firebase and Firestore, as they provide hosting, authentication, and database services.
When required by law or legal requests.
Within your basketball team, to display your name and reservations for coordination purposes.
You have the right to:
Access and update your personal information in the app.
Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Withdraw consent for data collection (note: some features may not function without basic data such as email and camera access).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app, and the “Effective Date” will be updated.
