While at Harley-Davidson Motor Company John was a strong leader, coach, and mentor. His knowledge of quality systems was second to none as he brought world class quality practices to the organization. All those strengths combined enabled John to successfully lead the implementation of QMS across the entire corporation. Truly having a big impact on the business.
John was hired by JLG Industries, Inc to bring the corporation to much higher levels of Quality. In a short period he led a virtual revolution in Quality and excited initiatives in facilities throughout the world. He is with a doubt one of the finest Quality Leaders I have had the honor to work with.
John and I worked together in the Quality Organization for Kaman Aerospace. John worked as the Corporate Quality Director and chaired the Corporate Quality Council across the organization. His prior experience as a Senior Quality Executive quickly gained him the respect as a sound quality leader/authority across the organization. His knowledge of the AS9100 standard and the creation of our Interaction of Processes model as we began our transition to revision D of the AS9100 standard was leading edge. John as Chairman of the Corporate Quality Council lead us to standardized procedures, policies, and initiatives that we continue to use as the benchmark for all our businesses within Kaman.
