Kapela Jaska Bobka was formed in 2002. The group is made up of Jan and Bernadetta Bobek along with Jan’s brothers Matt and Daniel. KJB plays traditional Polish Highlander music along with music from other genres. The group is special because three of the four members were born in America. The deep passion for Polish Highlander music was instilled in them by their father. Kapela Jaśka Bobka performs at both private and public events. They perform a plethora of music including Carpathian, Gypsy and Polish. Through their performing and teaching, they aim to introduce a new audience to the incredible music of the Polish Highlands.
