Quantum algorithms/information for materials science
We are currently developing the "resource-efficient quantum algorithms" and novel data-representation methods for materials science applications. By utilizing both target and residual amplitudes in Grover’s algorithm, our approach encodes multiple data items in a single quantum state and enables 2n-bit information to be represented using n qubits. We are currently extending these quantum information techniques to materials discovery, simulation, and optimization.
