I trained as a music therapist in the U.S. at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Having completed my music therapy internship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in California, I moved back to Boston where I worked in various education and community settings, whilst providing clinical supervision to music therapy students. In 2016, I moved to Orlando, Florida and worked as a medical music therapist at AdventHealth Orlando (formerly known as Florida Hospital Orlando), providing music therapy services to patients and their families across multiple medical departments and units. I also supervised music therapy interns who were in their final stages of their training to become music therapists in the U.S. In 2019, I moved back to Singapore. I helped to start the music therapy offering at Medley Music School, establish the music therapy service in the Mood Disorders Unit at the Institute of Mental Health, and develop innovative and integrated music therapy programs at Extraordinary People Limited.
