My Metaphor for Literature

To me, literature is like a kaleidoscope. It offers endless patterns and perspectives that change with every turn of the reader’s interpretation. Just as a kaleidoscope creates new and unique designs with each shift, literature reveals fresh meanings and layers depending on who is reading it and their personal experiences. I believe that every time I return to a piece of literature, I find something different—new ideas, deeper themes, and more connections. The way I understand a text can completely transform over time, just like how a simple pattern in a kaleidoscope can become something more complex with each turn. Literature also adapts to the context in which it's read—what I see as a story of adventure today might later resonate as a powerful commentary on society. To me, this is the beauty of literature: it deepens over time, offering richer insights and encouraging me to reflect on myself and the world. Literature, like a kaleidoscope, is a celebration of diversity, creativity, and endless discovery.
