Sherwood doesn't need promises that sound good during an election. It needs practical leadership, honest communication, and a willingness to tackle challenges together.
These priorities reflect what I've heard from neighbors across our city and where I believe we should focus our time, energy, and resources to build a better Sherwood.
A stronger local economy benefits everyone. I'll work to attract new businesses, support the ones already investing in Sherwood, and make it easier to do business here. Smart growth means creating more opportunities while protecting the character of the neighborhoods we love. Sherwood is a sales-tax-heavy city and the goal shouldn't be to raise that tax to increase revenue, it will be to attact and retain more businesses we want to add to the pie.
Safe roads, reliable drainage, and well-planned infrastructure are essential to our quality of life. I'll advocate for long-term planning, responsible maintenance, and investments that solve problems instead of proverbially kicking the can. It's not the sexy stuff of a city, but it's the necessary stuff.
Public safety is one of the most important responsibilities of city government. I support providing our police officers and firefighters with the training, equipment, and resources they need while promoting transparency and accountability that builds trust with the community.
Great parks, community events, and family-friendly spaces make Sherwood a place people are proud to call home. I'll continue investing in the amenities that strengthen neighborhoods and improve our quality of life.
City Hall should work for the people. I want open and understandable communication, to listen to residents before major decisions are made, and to promote transparency so citizens know how and why decisions are being made.
The best ideas don't always come from elected officials. They also come from the people who live here every day. I want to bring back public comments in our City Council meetings so we can hear out our residents because the best solutions begin with understanding the people they affect.
This is how I intend to LEAD the city of Sherwood!

Deliver Results that Matter - I am committed to responsible leadership and delivering real results that improve the quality of life for everyone in Sherwood.
