At the end of my Sophomore year, my chemistry teacher assigned us to make an all-natural product health/self-care product. We were learning about acids and bases at the time so we were learning which acids, bases, and the combination of the two were harmful to humans.
At the end of my Sophomore year, my chemistry teacher assigned us to make an all-natural product health/self-care product. We were learning about acids and bases at the time so we were learning which acids, bases, and the combination of the two were harmful to humans.
My product is an all-natural makeup remover called Clear. It is made out of coconut oil, water, cleanser, and tea tree oil. I used Witch Hazel as my cleaner because I’ve used it before to clean my skin and it is reliable. Witch Hazel can dry your skin though, so that’s why I used coconut oil to moisturize my skin while removing the makeup. The water is used to dilute the solution so it isn’t too strong against your skin. The tea tree oil is also used to moisturize your skin and if you were to store the remover with wipes, the wipes won't mold.
