In my Chemistry class, we had to do a project where we had to choose a recipe that had to do with the Columbian Exchange and make the recipe. The Columbian Exchange was the trading of crops from both the "Old World" and the "New World". We also had to identify the limiting reagents of the reaction from baking the pizza and market the product to sell it to the school.

Ingredients:
Premade Pizza Dough (Mixture)
1⁄4 cup tomato sauce (Mixture)
1 teaspoon italian seasoning (Pure Substance)
1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder(Pure Substance)
1⁄2 teaspoon salt(Pure Substance)
1⁄8 teaspoon pepper(Pure Substance)
1 1⁄2 cups chicken(Mixture)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese(Mixture)
1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese(Mixture)
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese(Mixture)
I worked with three other people throughout the project. My job was to convert all the measurements to the metric system and find out which ingredients were the limiting reagents. The other responsibilities my group had was to market the product, create the presentation, create the video, and make the decorations our table for the customers.
