Northern Krill (Meganyctiphanes norvegica) can be found from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean Sea, making them native to the Indo-West Pacific. These small crustaceans provide food to whales, birds and fish as they are an important component of the zooplankton. This species of krill is the only known species under the Meganyctuphanes genus, but have been known by several over names including Euphausia intermedia, Nyctiphanes norvegicus, and Thysanopoda norvegica

The Indian Yellow-Nosed Albatross (Thalassarche carteri) has only been split from Atlantic Yellow-Nosed Albartross (Thalassarche chlororhynchos) since 2004. Before, this species was known just as the Yellow-Nosed Albatross. It can be difficult to tell the subspecies apart, the main difference being in their heads, as Atlantic Yellow-Nosed Albatross's have grey plumage which is lighter than on the Indian Yellow-Nosed Albatross.
