After The Flash
Belongs to the CDF.
Owned by CDF and founded by a group of refugees. The CDF made a deal with the refugees to expand and gain ownership of the small town in 2042.
Belongs to the USCPF.
Owned by USCPF, the camp is very well-equiped and stocked up on food. The camp is somewhat luxurious comparing to surrounding areas owned by other factions. The base constantly receives supplies and food from a CHP UR-22, making the USCPF the best choice for refugees without a plan.
Belongs to no one.
Any refugee or faction pushed out of their spawn zone may take control of this.
Belongs to no one.
Not of much use except for a place to sleep.
Belongs to no one.
Due to extreme highway use after the nuclear strike, the mutation spread quickly and as a result was permanently settled into the food supplies in the gas station. Mutants spawn here.
Belongs to the USCPF.
Previously owned by CDF, the small solar plant is now abandoned due to ACMF's raid on the plant. USCPF later entered the plant and wiped out the remaining ACMF, and the power that is received from the solar plant now goes to USCPF Camp.
Belongs to no one.
A sad strip of land, the remnants of the glory of pre-war infrastructure and power distribution, now a common traveling checkpoint for all factions.
After The Flash: Osaka
Osaka, Japan? Still searching. Thanks Wiki!
After The Flash: Sandstorm
This base was hit by one stray bomb before the war went nuclear. The building and surrounding railguns, shacks, as well as the airfield, are in excellent condition due to constant resupply from the Shaft and the Metal Refinery.
A simple bar and dock for all local refugees, mutants, and USCPF operatives. It has a working boat and the only piano in the area.
This zone belongs to no one, except refugees and other stranded folk. It is a pre-war mining tunnel that was never finished, due to the war.
These gates mark the end of USCPF territory beginning with the old USCG base, and nothing much can be said about them, besides the two jail cells it holds.
The largest and safest town in this wasteland, Docktown belongs to the CDF, and also comes with a boat. It's six stories high at its highest point.
This zone mainly belongs to the CDF, and it used to be the Rockport Aquarium before the war. Since then, however, it's become the CDF's local school, and is used exclusively in peaceful ways.
One of the main outlets of the "Sunburned" radio channel, its operator died over three years ago of natural causes. The tower is now open to anyone and everyone.
The USCPF used to own these gates, but the CDF bought the land in late 2055. The gates as well as the guard tower are now rusted from age, seeing as the USCPF no longer owns it. The CDF began building Docktown on the old dock in 2056.
This zone is a cave, dug by a few preppers before the war ended, who knew or suspected that it would soon go nuclear. The CDF now uses it as an escape zone.
This zone is what's left of Florida's Rockport City, which was bombed heavily during the ACMF invasion of Florida, before the nukes fell. You might find some of the building lights still on. Is this because there's still power, or are people living on those floors?
The bank belongs to the CDF. People are advised to not visit the subterranean part of this bank, as it can be very scary.
It's a lot larger than the bank, has a pool, locker rooms, and a lobby. The CDF uses the lobby as a makeshift outpost, and as such, owns the hotel. Some mods may not claim this to be true; it is. The CDF owns the hotel.
A sad and desolate strip of land. What was once a great center of coastal civilization has now been reduced to radioactive debris and sand dunes. The town was heavily bombarded by the ACMF just prior to their invasion. The town's residents barely had time to flee before the ACMF marched in, accompanied by electromagnetic pulses and booms of distant nuclear explosions, filling everyone's eyes and ears with a symphony of destruction.
Once a USCPF-held zone, it now mostly belongs to the mutants, the refugees, and the remnants of the ACMF. A crashed UR-22 exists here. The gate is built out of boulders, rusted fences, and flipped vehicles.
This area is a very strategic point for the USCPF, as it is where the USCPF gets its new metal from. All local factions can send in their scrap metal, and it will be refined, cleaned up, and plated or turned into ingots. It's a very safe place to be.
One of the very few ambiguously owned towns in the nearby Florida area, Tracktown is centered around a large crash site of a prototype pre-war Inter-Atmospheric Insertion Ship, under development by the United States Navy, as well as the train it hit when it derailed. The ship was delivering a handful of troops and supplies to Rockport when the nukes started falling, causing the ship to be crippled by EMPs. This sent it down toward the old train track linking Rockport to the coastal region. The town is second in size only to Docktown.
− This fairly large wooden house once belonged to a local biologist. After the war, he abandoned his home and devoted his remaining time to curing new diseases and viruses, that had come into existence due to the radioactive fallout inducing mutations. His patients were all afflicted with one or more of these viruses, causing them to be horribly mutated themselves, as well as causing some of them to retain only their base instincts, causing them to go feral. These mutants killed him.
Once a centre for the USCDC's experiments with RAD-8 induced mutations, it now belongs to the mutants. The local denizens aren't on the best terms with the USCPF as a result of the facility's history, notably the fact that they were experimented on by US Government doctors, some of whom are still alive and with the USCPF.
This air base belongs to the USCPF. It is one of many nearby military airfields capable of receiving, holding, and sending supplies for all nearby bases. It's the main supplier of new ammunition, food, metal, and machinery. All standard-issue grills, refrigerators, and other items pass through here before being distributed. The location of the state factory where these items come from must be kept absolutely secret, to keep it safe from potential threats.
This is a main supply point for the USCPF. This underground area holds both a subway, a highway tunnel, and a sewer, all of which lead to a top secret US landing pad. It receives supplies on a daily basis, from incoming UR-22 drops, which come directly from the supply depot.
After The Flash: Darkness
The seismic activity from the ridiculously large number of warheads that struck New York City caused a few slumps in the sewers. You can't quite access the surface from here, but you can come fairly close.
A waterfall overlooking Central Town.
The USS Ascending, nearly ready to join the 17th fleet in the Gulf of Vietnam, never quite made it to completion. It sits there, in its dry dock, a reminder of the absolute power of the old world militaries.
A destroyed subway train lays here. Some say that a cannibal lives in this area, but not many people have returned to tell whether or not it's true.
The largest town in the Old York sewers. It's a bustling center of business for any scavengers, prospectors, bounty hunters, marketers, etc. The north side of town is a bit dangerous. Established in late 1992 and built up since.
Central Town Guard Station
A simple guard station, to stop or search incoming refugees.
A sad strip of land, with nothing but the skeletons of a once-great center of modern civilization. Now it's all snow. Clouds and snow.
An almost military-grade base for raiders. The base is on the surface due to the underground's rejection of raiders and bandits. With temperatures sometimes hitting -50º F, the surface is no place for the faint-hearted. Some of the bandits are friendly, however. Nobody's sure how the raiders/bandits came across such superior technology. The stories say that the raiders are descendants of old US soldiers who built a high-tech base sometime in 2019, but nobody knows for sure.
Due to its incredibly strong and bulky structure, the Empire State Building wasn't completely destroyed. The building withstood as many as 6 nuclear blasts, losing only the top 34 floors. People find it hard to believe that humanity once had the ability to build so high.
Does this belong to the Central Town residents? The mutants? The raiders? Who knows.
Central Town used to use this position to mine an old subway area for materials such as precious metals. It was abandoned due to mutant attacks
Also abandoned, it houses one of the few computers in the world capable of communicating with other computers in the US, using Arpanet. Most people who've heard of it call it the internet.
After The Flash: Rain
This area was once filled with water and acted as a dock, capable of holding up to five ships, of which three could be docked for refitting or maintenance at any given time. After the war ended, the water had filtered out of the shipyard for unknown reasons. This area has since grown into a lush, tropical piece of Honolulu's environment. It's home to the Masterson Factory, which produces all of Pearl's clean water, fusion energy, and mechanisms, supplying equally to every faction, regardless of who's sided with who. Supplies aren't free, but are fairly cheap bought from the factory. Near the factory there's also an underground warehouse containing both supplies for the factory, as well as pre-and-post war technology and weapons and ammunition. The factory also stores things it doesn't immediately sell here.
The Materson Bunker is a mysterious area, which seems like an abandoned military bunker. It houses an armory, a deserted food canteen, a headquarters-like area showing the areas that have been radiated and deserted (Funnily enough, it is written in comic sans), a medical area, and a storage unit. Interestingly enough, this storage unit contains a SEAL suit and SEAL drone. This makes very little sense, as there are no SEALs in Hawaii.
This area is fairly dangerous. Quite a few gangs, including the Sandsharks, lurk around this area. It houses many office buildings used for black market shipment, such as the mall, hotel, several restaurants, and a few office buildings.
The Farrington Overpass is seen by many as the unofficial border between Sandshark territory, and that which the CDF holds. There are quite a few military relics sitting on it, left right as they were when the war ended sixty years ago, including a small Zumwalt-class destroyer, the "USS Erwin". In Frost the Erwin is floating right beside the overpass, and in Rain it sits some distance away, bottomed out in the harbor just to the sout
Like the countless thousands of scrap towns located around the US, this town is owned by the CDF, and is home to a large portion of the residents of the Masterson area. It is more fortified than most scrap towns, being built in a pre-war high rise under construction, and with a strong frontal gate. These are necessary precautions, seeing as the USCPF has a few artillery pieces pointed generally to where the town is. The residents of the town fear that the USCPF is keeping a few of the higher-quality shipments from the US main land for its high ranks and governor. It's visible from miles around, because of the old rusty tower crane at its centre, where most business takes place. In early 2016, there was a large edit to Cranetown made by fans. The area where Cranetown stands in Pearl City rests nearly perfectly on where a Home Depot is.
This area was once a piece of the Masterson Area of Pearl City. It was completely flattened when the two nuclear devices hit it, leaving it defenseless against the eroding sand that comes in with every flood that Honolulu is subject to. The area is covered in a thick layer of it now, estimated to be at least twenty feet thick, although every once in a while, a hole in the sand opens up that leads to the ruins beneath the wasteland. It's home to Fort Outlook.
This base was built, and is maintained, by the local USCPF detachment. Many of the local merchants suspect that this fort is stockpiling supplies for its own residents and soldiers for the possibility of a war in the west. The fort is very well fortified, well supplied, and receives weekly shipments via a few UR-22 drop ships, from the US mainland. It has a few howitzers pointing toward Cranetown, as well as the Waipahu Area. It is also located in the Pearl Wasteland. It rests on the map nearly perfectly on the Leeward Community College.
This is an additional town next to Fort Outlook made by two LPMs. It consists of basic town items, a bar, a town hall, a clinic, and so on. It's often taken over by USCPF. On the map, it actually rests on the Leeward Community College Theatre.
After The Flash: Deep Winter
Southside was once a rural town in pre-war America that is now falling into ruins. No faction owns the town but most patrol regularly through it. Very few, if any, citizens remain in the town and anyone that does reside there is most likely a bandit. The town itself is mostly filled with ferals and various other mutants occupying sections of the town or the buildings. Also where you find the most frpers.
The Sewers originally were made to maintain waste and sewage. After the Flash, the land above was filled with radiation and toxic air and because it did not affect locations underground, many citizens flocked to the sewers creating the settlement known as the Den. The sewers are occupied by mutants and there are rumors circulating of ACMF troops moving through them. The Sewers are considered a safe haven by many and it is one of the only places with a non-polluted atmosphere in the entire map, meaning that anyone can use The Sewers as a base when preparing to visit the surface. The residents of the sewer are in a constant fight for dominance against mutants, bandits and even ACMF troopers. The USCPF is rarely seen down here.
The Den, located in the sewers, is a large scale post-war settlement that holds most of the civilian population in the area, The air in the Den is breathable like the sewers and is largely secure. The Den has a lot of space and plenty of pre-war food and medical supplies as well as a generator that supplies power to the various floodlights found around the Den. The Den also seems to be a marketplace and a "hotel" for travellers who don't live there. It also has a greenhouse where it can grow its own food. Many of the factions avoid this location due to the large population. The Den frequently sends out patrols through the tunnels and has several guard posts around their territory in order to protect it from mutants, bandits and other hostiles.
The US Fort was a pre-war location that belonged to the United States Military. It was abandoned afterwards, and now the fort is occupied by no one but the occasional feral or traveler. It holds several pieces of rusted artillery as well as various destroyed buildings such as the mess hall. It has been stripped clean of any small arms or useful items.
The ship was left drifting until it beached near the bridge, it still has several functioning systems and is largely intact, but a serious repair would be needed to restore it to basic functionality as a sea worthy vessel.
This power plant was abandoned in fairly good condition until the USCPF took it over and made serious repairs to it. It provides power to major points in the area. It is guarded 24/7 by the USCPF at all costs. It is the main base of the USCPF in the game. The USCPF even succeeded in making the air breathable there.
This is the main link at the mouth of the river until the end of the war. It used to let people over and the occasional ship through until the Flash. Now it stands in up position as it was abandoned in a hurry soon after The Flash. It stands as an ominous reminder of the sudden event known as The Flash. There is an island in the middle. Sand bags and turrets have been set up near and atop an RV that covers most of the bridge. Inside the RV are some crates with supplies in them.Recently, The Reds and Penumbra have taken over the bridge center and have named it Outpost Hertford. They fortified it and have turned it into a settlement, and are continuing work on it.
This is a group of tanks that used to be part of an advancing ACMF force. It became a camp and shelter after the tanks ran out of fuel.
Not much information is present about this buried mall except that it is heavily guarded and is a hotspot for activity. When the entrance collapsed, the only reason anyone could still get in and out directly at its location was because a large truck pulling a container was stuck in the middle. The container broke on both sides and a rope was rolled down for easy access.
This bomber was most likely once a supersonic B-1 Bomber that would have served for the US Air Force. Why it crashed is uncertain but it is thought it crashed either because of a pressure difference causing a breach in the hull, hence the large hole towards the front of it, or maybe shot down by a missile. It lies in a field where it sits rusting away, with a bomb load that could level the surrounding area completely if detonated. It still has a lot of weapons and supplies capable of giving a traveler the first smile in a while. It sits with its left wing broken and its right wing angled high into the air.
This facility sits by Southside as a beacon of defense against the monsters created by the Flash. It was once a prison but soon after the Flash, most of its convicts escaped, killing their guards in the process. Its entrance gates still function somehow. Part of its prison barracks are destroyed but otherwise its buildings are all intact.
Not much is known about this mysterious facility to the general public due to the denial of its existence by USCPF forces. However, the facility, was once home to a SEAL research team that studied the effects regarding the infamous RAD virus. Until a catastrophic disaster occurred. Now the once advanced facility is consumed by organized mutants, as it contains one of their many spawning pools. Needless to say, any soul who goes through those rusty doors, Never comes out the same.
This building is filled with the old offices of the mercenary company DECorp. Remnants live here and you must have high level clearance to get in. The clearance is granted only to DECorp personnel (as said in the DECorp lore).
Drastead is just a small town, guarded by a small militia. From time to time the ACMF are seen in Drastead helping to guard the town with the small militia based in Drastead. Sometimes SEALs come into Drastead, and drop off supplies from the Den.
After The Flash: Deep Six
The Power Facility
This pre-war power facility is located a half-mile East of Fort Shad, in the North. Its heyday is long-gone. The US keeps the facility in good enough condition so it can continue distributing power to all the local forts and regions that they think require it. The facility isn't very well-guarded, but it does its job just fine. Some say there's a locked door in the facility which contains a room untouched since 2032, but nobody knows for sure.
Fort Shad
This is one of the three fortresses that the United States government has entrusted to guard its new border with the PRT. The other two are stationed a few miles West. Although it's usually low on man-power and lacks certain resources, it makes up for this with intense firepower. It contains a bathhouse, 3 housing barracks, 2 storage bunkers, an auto repair shop, a command center, 2 pillboxes, a guard tower, a dock, and many tanks and howitzers. It has howitzers pointed directly at Fort Wilmington and tanks ready to fight at a minute's notice.
Corner Gas Station
This refueling station supplies electricity for all the local vehicles on the North side of the Halfmoon River.
The Pre-War Sewer
A mile down the road from the Corner Gas Station, off in the woods, lies the entrance to this old, abandoned set of underground pipes. Who knows what goes on down there nowadays?
North Poor Neighborhood
This neighborhood sits at the end of a dirt road a quarter of a mile away from the Corner Gas Station. Nobody's sure if the people still live there, if they moved away, or worse.
North Middle-Class Neighborhood
This neighborhood sits at the end of a cul-de-sac a mile down the road from the Corner Gas Station. Before the Atlanta Crisis, it was the home to pretty economically well-off families. Nobody's sure if they still live there.
Whitman Bay is a small town with a population of 26. The RCO work at Whitman Bay, with them owning the warehouse and RCO ship, called the Enfield. Other places of Whitman are the Anchor, Whitman Bay Health Care, the hotel and a few other places. There have also been rumours of a submarine owned by the ACMF in Whitman Bay.
Neutral Territory
Bridge Control Station
This bridge station lies on a bulkhead island in the middle of the Halfmoon Creek. It used to let fishing and transit boats through, before the Atlanta Crisis. Now it's just a buffer zone between the PRT and the USA.
Southside
Southside is the biggest town in the area. The next towns like it are 5 to 10 miles North or South. This town is under the protection of the PRT. It receives a fair amount of electricity through power lines from the bigger cities further South. The PRT and USA fought over this town, along with many others in the Atlanta Crisis. As a result, the town's buildings are mostly abandoned. Some of them were even bombed during the conflict. The owners likely moved further North or South to escape the fighting. Some of the buildings don't receive power to certain floors due to cut power lines or short power supply. This town has a fire department, a courthouse, a pawn shop, a gas station, an apartment building, a postal center, a bank, a bar, a repairman shop, a greenhouse, a furniture store, a farmer's market, a car dealer, a restaurant, a pharmacy, a barber shop, and a construction warehouse
Southside Poor Neighborhood
This neighborhood sits at the end of a dirt road a half mile away from Southside. Nobody's sure if the people still live there, if they moved away, or worse.
Fort Wilmington
This fort used to be made up of only the pre-war prison. It was used by the CDF as a center of conduct until the Atlanta Crisis, when they started building new facilities near the prison. The fort is sometimes visited and patrolled by the MEB. The fort was equipped with high-grade weapons and vehicles by the MEB to combat the USA on its new border. It has a bathhouse, a pre-war prison for barracks, a guard tower, an auto repair shop, a command center, a high-rank barracks, a wall surrounding it all, and a supply of howitzers and tanks. The howitzers are all pointed at Fort Shad, and the tanks are ready to fight at a minute's notice.
Underground Bunker
Nobody's really sure where this is or why it's there, but many have heard rumors and whispers of its existence. Some even claim to have seen it with their own eyes.
Extra: It's owned by the MEB and was used to start the Shad-Wilmington artillery exchange by firing on Shad which made them think that they were under fire form Southside, return fire, but not at the correct antagonists, which in turn made fort Wilmington think Northside was attacking them, not returning fire, and it returned fire at Fort Shad.
