Jasper Travel Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Jasper Travel.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Jasper Travel mobile application, website, features, content, and related services (“Jasper”, “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, or using Jasper, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the App.
1. About Jasper
Jasper is a travel planning app that helps users save places, organize travel ideas, build trips, view places on a map, and create day-by-day itineraries.
Jasper may include features such as saved places, Bucket Lists, Trip Inboxes, maps, place search, itinerary planning, imported links or screenshots, AI-assisted organization, and subscription-based features.
Jasper is intended to help you plan and organize travel information. It is not a travel agency, booking provider, emergency service, navigation safety tool, or official source of travel, legal, health, visa, transport, or safety advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Jasper.
By using Jasper, you confirm that you are legally able to agree to these Terms.
3. Your Use of Jasper
You agree to use Jasper only for lawful, personal, and appropriate purposes.
You agree not to:
- Use Jasper for illegal, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or misleading purposes
- Upload or submit content that infringes someone else’s rights
- Attempt to interfere with, damage, reverse engineer, or misuse the App or its systems
- Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or overload Jasper
- Use Jasper to store or share sensitive information that you are not comfortable processing through the App
- Rely on Jasper as your only source for important travel, safety, visa, transport, or booking decisions
You are responsible for the information you add to Jasper and for how you use the App.
4. Travel Information and Planning
Jasper may help you organize places, trips, itineraries, notes, maps, and travel ideas.
However, travel information can change. Opening hours, prices, transport times, availability, safety conditions, visa rules, entry requirements, weather, routes, and local restrictions may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date.
You should independently verify important travel information before relying on it, including:
- Flight and transport details
- Hotel or accommodation information
- Visa and entry requirements
- Safety guidance
- Opening hours
- Ticket prices
- Booking confirmations
- Directions and travel times
- Health or legal requirements
Jasper is a planning tool. Final travel decisions are your responsibility.
5. Maps, Places, and Third-Party Data
Jasper may use third-party services, including Google Places, Google Maps, Apple services, or other providers, to search, verify, display, or enrich place information.
Place information may include names, addresses, categories, photos, reviews, ratings, coordinates, opening hours, and other metadata.
We do our best to provide useful place information, but we cannot guarantee that third-party data is accurate, complete, available, or current.
Your use of third-party map, place, or platform services may also be subject to those providers’ own terms and policies.
6. AI-Assisted Features
Jasper may include AI-assisted features that help organize travel ideas, identify places from text or screenshots, group saved places, suggest day assignments, identify overly full days, or generate trip planning suggestions.
AI-generated suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances.
You should review and verify AI-generated content before relying on it. Jasper does not guarantee that AI suggestions are correct, safe, available, or appropriate.
You should not submit sensitive personal information, private identification documents, passports, visa confirmations, financial documents, or other confidential information to AI-assisted features unless you are comfortable with that information being processed for the request.
7. Imported Content, Screenshots, and Links
Jasper may allow you to add, paste, import, or process text, links, screenshots, travel notes, or recommendations from other sources.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload, save, or use any content you add to Jasper.
If Jasper processes imported content to identify travel-related information, the results may not always be accurate. You should check imported places, notes, or suggestions before using them in a trip plan.
8. Accounts
Some versions of Jasper may allow or require account creation.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to update it if needed.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we believe an account has been used in violation of these Terms.
9. Subscriptions and Paid Features
Jasper may offer paid features, subscriptions, free trials, or Pro plans.
Purchases made through the App Store are processed by Apple. Subscription management, billing, cancellations, refunds, and renewals may be handled by Apple and/or a subscription management provider such as RevenueCat.
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the price, billing period, renewal terms, and any trial terms shown at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions usually renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
We do not receive your full payment card details.
10. Free Trials and Promotions
Jasper may offer free trials, discounts, or promotional access from time to time.
Trial and promotional terms may vary and may be changed or withdrawn where permitted by law.
Unless cancelled before the end of the trial period, a free trial may convert into a paid subscription according to the terms shown at purchase.
11. Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.
We cannot directly issue refunds for purchases processed by Apple.
12. Your Content
You may add trips, saved places, notes, links, screenshots, preferences, and other content to Jasper (“Your Content”).
You remain responsible for Your Content.
By adding content to Jasper, you give us permission to process, store, display, and use that content as needed to operate the App, provide features, improve functionality, process AI-assisted requests, manage subscriptions, and provide support.
We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
13. Intellectual Property
Jasper, including its design, branding, features, software, text, graphics, logos, interface, and other content, is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Jasper unless permitted by law or expressly authorized by us.
14. Privacy
Your use of Jasper is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and what choices you have.
You should read the Privacy Policy before using Jasper.
15. Service Availability
We aim to keep Jasper available and working well, but we do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Some features may depend on third-party services, internet access, device permissions, subscriptions, or backend systems.
We may update, change, suspend, remove, or discontinue features at any time.
16. App Updates
We may release updates, improvements, bug fixes, or changes to Jasper.
Some features may require you to install the latest version of the App.
We are not responsible for issues caused by using an outdated version of Jasper.
17. No Warranty
Jasper is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or guarantees about:
- The accuracy of travel information
- The availability of places, routes, bookings, or services
- The correctness of AI-generated suggestions
- The reliability of maps or third-party data
- The App being uninterrupted, error-free, or always available
- The App meeting your specific travel needs
You use Jasper at your own risk.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, travel costs, missed bookings, missed transport, lost profits, or other losses arising from your use of Jasper.
This includes losses caused by inaccurate travel information, third-party services, AI-generated suggestions, user error, technical issues, or reliance on information displayed in the App.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
19. Third-Party Services and Links
Jasper may contain links to third-party websites, services, maps, apps, or content.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, policies, availability, or practices.
Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
20. Termination
You may stop using Jasper at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Jasper if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the App, created risk for us or others, or if we are required to do so by law.
After termination, some sections of these Terms will continue to apply, including sections about intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and disputes.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify you by updating the effective date, posting a notice in the App, or using another appropriate method.
Your continued use of Jasper after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, unless another law is required to apply under mandatory consumer protection rules in your country.
If you live in the European Union or another region with mandatory consumer rights, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence.
