I received my bachelor's degree from Tamkang University in 2017 and earned my Ph.D. in 2021 from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where I also completed post-doctoral research. In 2023, I joined Beijing Normal University as an Assistant Professor.
My primary research area is the development of novel membrane processes and machine learning models for (sea)water treatment. Currently, I'm fascinated by Large Language models like GPT-5 and Gemini-2.5pro, which offer new possibilities in AI system development and human-AI interaction. I am excited to explore ways to deepen our understanding of their operations and effectively integrate them into Water and Membrane systems, while also enhancing their efficiency, modularity, robustness, and trustworthiness.
