i           am       cold

that’s what the            forest does              when you enter    without armor

         i shouldn’t have come here. i shouldn’t have come here. maybe if i had only stayed

in bed like a good                   little child                 i wouldn’t have found the forest    it would 

not have called for me                        the trees are too tall                how do they stand when they 

are hollow                   color here has  e v a p o r a t e d         gray leaves cover the ground

blackened bark is eaten away by fog              my breath is whitened ash                  even my pink

skin is now paper                                how will i get home                            that’s the trick

i was warned 

the others warned me

                    they tried

                                    to 

                                                save me

                                                            i don’t think i will                               

                                                            i thought its            voice                                

   mom,

         why 

                             can’t you

             hear me?

                                                            was                      

                                                          friendly                                                 

but no            

    one                          

     will help me 

            the 

         others 

      called here 

     they  will 

     never leave

                       no one 

                 will save us
