I am a young Puerto Rican philosopher and academic. I was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, from which I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and graduated with honors (magna cum laude; Premio Empédocles). Subsequently, in 2019, I began my doctoral studies in philosophy at Purdue University where I am now a PhD candidate. I specialize in the philosophy of religion, metaphysics, and metaethics while having strong interests in philosophical logic, philosophy of language, and philosophy of mathematics. Currently, I am writing my dissertation—titled Moderate Theistic Metaethics and Its Implications to Natural Theology—under the supervision of Paul Draper (along with Michael Bergmann and Patrick Kain). I also have developed an introductory course on philosophy and video games and have pioneered the development of teaching philosophy through video games alongside Javier Gómez-Lavin, Troy Seagraves, and others. As a proud Puerto Rican, I seek soon to bring the work of contemporary Puerto Rican philosophers to the attention of non-Spanish speaking philosophers through translation and propagation of their work. I am also a gamer, musician, and poet.
