Berna (left) is interested in the effects of individual differences in attention processes (especially mind wandering) on creativity.

Nhi Nguyen

Nhi's research is focused on working memory and mathematics. She is investigating how working memory relates to mathematics learning and performance.

Former Students

Sarah K. C. Dygert, Ph.D.

Sarah’s research used an individual differences approach to understand the processes underlying creative thinking in contexts such as problem solving and language comprehension.

Sarah is currently working as a project manager for the Research & Curriculum Unit at Mississippi State University.

Megan J. Raden, Ph.D.

Megan's research interests included working memory, problem solving, and fluid intelligence. She also explored the extent to which these processes are involved in computer programming.

Megan is currently working for Viget, doing quantitative research to build and design better digital experiences.
