Relief

A simple art song for Mezzo-Soprano and Piano, this was originally written as a part of an audition for the NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theater Workshop, but now stands on its own as a beautiful piece. With wonderful poetry by Edna St. Vincent Millay, it grapples with the feelings of a lost loved one, most likely a life partner.
