This project was for my Studio 1 course in my second year at Champlain College. During this class we made 3 game. As the second project my team and I were given a choice of 2 out of 3 verbs to base our game around in 4 weeks.
Out of 3 concepts using different combinations of the verbs we landed on a castle crashers inspired hack and slash. We decided on this concept because of our team being so technically heavy with 2 designers and a programmer against the one artist and sound designer.
In this project we were taught how to use Jira a project management tool similar to Trello, and confluence for to construct a wiki, it where we place all the important documents so everyone on the team knows what going on or if someone is new to the project they can be onboarded fast.
My Role in this project was to focus on documentation and enemy balancing.
What that means is that I made visual and written representations of out concepts. The main sections I worked on extensively were the Visual Design Document(VDD) and the various flow charts.
These tree images are the different iterations of the VDD.

In addition these are some flow charts to help the programmer understand what me and the other designer were thinking for the main game loop and the other was for the producer to better tell the team what our prosses is going to be like.
