I'm noticing that when i'm on my lock screen the wallpaper and general color of the display is wayyyy more saturated in comparison to after its unlocked. Anyone noticing this on their devices? Is this a result of the in display fingerprint sensor? It almost ignores the display settings.

Now my Google apps have changed colors from the usual blue stuff to a light brown color. Apps like calendar, messages, news, contacts, etc. I normally have blue text message bubbles and such. Now they are brown.

My wallpaper is my wife and kid. It's not beautiful scenery, I just have it set because it's a nice picture of my family. Since I updated to OOS 12, some of my apps, including the dialer, Play Store, and messages app, are themed with an ugly brown color that hardly even appears in my wallpaper. Why should I be forced to choose between a nice family picture or apps that aren't barf-accented? I dug through the settings and I don't see the option to manually choose an app accent color or to disable the wallpaper accent feature. Pixels allow you to opt out.

After updating to the latest version of Oxygen, all Google apps seem to have reverted to, what I assume is, the Google wallpaper accent colors and I can't for the life of me figure out how to change it and looks awful. Here are some examples:

The OnePlus and Hasselblad partnership primarily focused on software with the OnePlus 9 series smartphones. The OnePlus 10 Pro includes improved software, too. The new phone includes what OnePlus calls the 'Billion Color Solution,' which OnePlus says allows for Hasselblad's 'Natural Color Calibration' to be applied to over a billion colors. The OnePlus 10 Pro can capture in full 10-bit color, a first for the company. The increased color processing allows the OnePlus 10 Pro to capture 64 times more colors than the OnePlus 9 Pro while simultaneously reducing color banding.

The OnePlus 10 Pro also includes Hasselblad's second-generation Pro Mode. This allows the smartphone to capture RAW images in 12-bit color with Hasselblad's Natural Color Solution. This works for all three rear cameras. There's also a new RAW image format called RAW+ which, after utilizing computational photography technology, results in images with expanded dynamic range and improved noise reduction.

The Aura Carver 10.1" HD Digital Frame is a great way to put your portfolio on display and a great way to surface forgotten memories. The colors are vibrant, and the build quality is solid, but the Carver isn't without a few quirks.

Lomography's LomoChrome '92 is designed to mimic the look of classic drugstore film that used to fill family photo albums. As we discovered, to shoot with it is to embrace the unexpected, from strange color shifts to odd textures and oversized grain.

Sony's gridline update adds up to four customizable grids to which users can add color codes and apply transparency masks. It also raises questions about the future of cameras and what it means for feature updates.

More precisely, the back of the phone has a pattern that changes from blue to silver and vice versa. OnePlus calls the technology Electronic Color, Material and Finish (ECMF), and it consists of a special coating that contains "metal oxide in glass," which changes colors when different voltages are applied to it.

OnePlus announced its latest affordable flagship last month, with India having first dibs on the Almond model on launch day, May 14. The Nebula Blue and Mirror Gray color options released initially for North American markets. The new model has surely come around later to keep OnePlus in the news.

While the OnePlus 5 uses essentially the same 5.5-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, the company has made some tweaks to its display profile to improve its color performance. For some bizarre reason, OnePlus was calibrating the 3 to the outdated NTSC color space rather than sRGB, which led to horrible performance and weird colors. With the OnePlus 5, the company has returned to using the correct sRGB gamut for Android, at least at times.

The OnePlus 5's AMOLED produces a maximum brightness of around 410 nits, which is good from an AMOLED and perfectly acceptable for outdoor usage. Of course, contrast ratio is infinite due to the screen being off when displaying blacks, and that leads to a display that simply pops when displaying vibrant imagery. Viewing angles are great as well, though there is some color shift at acute angles.

The official announcement won't happen just yet, but OnePlus wants you to know it has moved the Alert Slider for better antenna support and added a new Flowy Emerald color to its upcoming flagship phone.

It's been a little over a week since OnePlus officially launched its latest flagship smartphone - the OnePlus 5. The device is currently the most powerful Android smartphone on the market with an upgraded Snapdragon 835 SoC, 8GBs of RAM, and UFS 2.1 with two-lane ROM. But compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus 3T, the OnePlus 5's display does not seem to be a marked improvement on the surface. Both devices feature a 5.5" 1080p AMOLED display at ~401ppi, but by default the OnePlus 5 features the DCI-P3 wide color gamut which is the same color gamut found in 4K Ultra High-Definition televisions and Digital Cinema.

Other than the OnePlus 5, there are other smartphones that support DCI-P3 like LG flagship devices (though apparently, not very accurately), the now-defunct Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+, and the iPhone 7. However, there appears to be another smartphone that may support the DCI-P3 wide color gamut - the __________. Soon after the OnePlus 5 was officially announced, it was discovered that the display model found in the OnePlus 5 is actually the same display found in the OnePlus 3T. In particular, Roland Quandt (@rquandt) used AIDA64 to discover that the OnePlus 5 uses the Samsung S6E3FA5 display (for reference, OnePlus 3T devices feature either the aforementioned Samsung S6E3FA5 or S6E3FA3 displays).

By writing a value of '1' to the DCI_P3 file (which 1____________________), the 2___________________________________________. After much discussion on the OnePlus BBS forums, it was discovered that this trick 3_________________________________________________________ display. If your OnePlus 3T is rooted and has the right display model, then you can enable the OnePlus 5's awesome display mode right now.

Once enabled, there is an immediate, noticeable difference in the screen quality. There's a clear saturation loss when changing the calibration mode to DCI-P3, and the change is noticeable no matter what screen mode you have enabled, which indicates the profile is different than the default or sRGB modes. Although in our own subjective comparison, Mario Serrafero notes that enabling DCI-P3 on the OnePlus 3T does not result in an identical display compared to the OnePlus 5's DCI-P3. Notably, yellows and blues appear to be a tad more saturated on the OnePlus 3T, and they slightly differ in temperature throughout as well. While the unofficial display calibration mode change does not perfectly match any of the available modes on the OnePlus 5, it appears to be closest to DCI-P3. A deeper display analysis could determine exactly what the difference is and how accurate this new color profile is.

OnePlus has taken a break from releasing phones you can actually buy to show off its latest prototype creation, the OnePlus 8T Concept. It showcases a number of cutting-edge technologies, including a back casing that changes color in response to various triggers.

The radar is good enough to detect breathing patterns, OnePlus says, and the back of the phone could even change color in time with these to keep you calm and relaxed. One of the concept's demo videos shows off an app that could monitor breathing, although if you were using it to manage your own breathing you wouldn't be able to see the screen.

The color shifting is made possible by a metal oxide film attached to the phone casing. As different voltages are applied to it, managed by the hardware inside the phone and the software running on it, the shade on the back shifts from dark blue to light silver. OnePlus is calling it Reactive Sensing Technology.

"Combining the shifting colors on the electrochromic back of the OnePlus 8T Concept with mmWave sensing technology is just the first step in opening up a wide range of possibilities for how people interact with their smartphones," says OnePlus. "In the near future, we believe there will be many more uses for Reactive Sensing."

OnePlus is known for launching unique colorways of its best phones, and while we haven't seen much of that in recent years, that's thankfully changing. The Chinese manufacturer rolled out the stunning OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey earlier this year, and it is now following it up with what may be one of its best limited-edition colors yet: OnePlus 11R Solar Red.

The Solar Red variant features a vibrant red hue that resembles the brand's color, and the best part is that it is made out of vegan leather. OnePlus says it designed the back to mimic the feel of Sandstone designs of years past, and the color along with the choice of material and texture should make for a pretty great combination. 5376163bf9
