About Us

Janet's Residential is an extended family care home established especially for the elderly who want a family-like atmosphere. We are not an assisted living facility. 

Our residential home is a fully equipped caregiving facility which cares up to 8 people which we call residents.  We pride ourselves in treating our residents like extended family, and we offer different levels of care from walking without assistance, walkers or cane. Wheelchair-bound welcomed. We also have a hospice waiver enabling our residents to live in our facility until the end if poA desires them to stay with us. That is our preference. Our facility also has a fenced in yard for added security and safety. Our goal together with the resident's famiies, significant other(s) etc. is to provide the best care possible. Our facility has been fortunate to house at least five centenarians(100 years old) or superagers(over 100 years old). One of our residents passed away 2 days from her 104 birthday which is mention in our "Meet the Residents" section. Also, we had many compliments from the families and relatives of the residents on the excellent treatment we provide to our residents which you can read in our "Referral" section. Again, we pride ourselves in treating our residents like extended family and we consider them as family.  

I, Janet Spires, owner, live in the premises and I have had many years of catering to the unique and sensitive needs of the elderly.

If the preference of your parent, famiy member, relatives, or significant other(s) etc.  is a setting with fewer people with similar needs as their own, please consider my community-based extended family home where every staff member knows your name.
