1. Services Provided

Jackson & Companies Professional Services, LLC DBA Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services provides mobile notary public services, Florida non-attorney document preparation, apostille facilitation, I-9 Employment Verification, B2B Freelance Administrative Support Services, Mortgage Guidance & Education Services, Insurance Application & Enrollment Assistance, Consumer Claim Documentation, Client-Directed Correspondence, wedding officiant services, and other administrative or professional services in accordance with applicable law and applicable professional licensing requirements.

Services offered through our website or directly to clients may include appointment scheduling, consultations, service requests, informational or educational content, clerical document preparation, organization of client-provided records, application or enrollment assistance, and administrative transmission of client-approved correspondence and attachments.

Non-attorney document preparation services may include matters such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, Guardianship-related forms, Family Law forms, Child Support matters, Evictions, and other client-directed documents where permitted. Clients are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legal appropriateness of the information and instructions they provide.

Mortgage Guidance & Education Services are educational in nature and do not constitute mortgage loan origination, brokerage, underwriting, approval, or lending.

Insurance Application & Enrollment Assistance is provided only within the scope of applicable individual insurance licensing, appointment, carrier authorization, and Florida law.

Unless a particular service is expressly provided within the scope of an applicable professional license, Jackson & Companies does not provide legal, tax, financial, mortgage-origination, insurance, or other regulated professional advice.

2. Eligibility

By using this website or requesting services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services website, submitting a service request, scheduling a consultation or appointment, accepting a quote, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the website or services.

4. Use of the Website

This website is provided for informational and business-presentation purposes. Users agree to use the website lawfully and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others or interfere with the operation of the website.

No attorney-client, mortgage-broker, lender, insurance-carrier, fiduciary, or other professional-client relationship is created solely by browsing this website, clicking a contact link, submitting a general message, or viewing information about our services.

A service relationship is established only when Jackson & Companies accepts a requested service or engagement, subject to applicable terms, disclosures, licensing requirements, availability, and any required payment or authorization.

5. Scope of Services

Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services provides professional notary, Florida non-attorney document preparation, administrative support, application and enrollment assistance, Mortgage Guidance & Education, Consumer Claim Documentation, Client-Directed Correspondence, and other accepted services to individuals and businesses.

Our role may include assisting clients with organizing information, completing or preparing client-directed documents, assembling supporting materials, presenting client-provided facts clearly, navigating administrative processes, understanding mortgage-readiness concepts, and completing applicable insurance application or enrollment processes based upon the service requested.

We do not provide legal, tax, financial, mortgage-origination, insurance, or other regulated professional advice unless a specific service is expressly performed within the scope of an applicable professional license or authorization.

Clients remain responsible for reviewing documents and information, providing accurate information, making final decisions, and obtaining additional licensed professional advice when needed.

6. Notary Services

Notarial services are performed in accordance with applicable Florida law.

A notary may decline or discontinue a notarization when legal requirements cannot be satisfied, including insufficient identification, inability or unwillingness of the signer to proceed, lack of required witnesses, or other circumstances preventing a lawful notarization.

7. Florida Non-Attorney Disclosure

Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services is a non-attorney document preparation service and is not a law firm. Kianté Jackson is not an attorney licensed to practice law in Florida.

We do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, legal strategy, legal representation, individualized determinations of legal rights or remedies, or advice regarding causes of action or courses of legal action.

Document preparation and client-directed correspondence services are based on the facts, information, documents, requested resolution, and instructions supplied and approved by the client.

If a matter requires legal interpretation, legal strategy, or individualized legal advice, the client should consult a Florida-licensed attorney.

8. Attorney & Other Professional Referrals

If requested, we may provide general contact information or referral information for attorneys, mortgage professionals, real estate professionals, insurance professionals, housing resources, or other independent service providers for the client’s consideration.

A referral is not a guarantee, endorsement, recommendation of a particular outcome, or representation regarding the qualifications, services, fees, availability, approval decisions, or performance of an independent provider.

Clients remain free to select any professional or provider of their choice and are solely responsible for deciding whether to engage a referred third party.

Jackson & Companies will not disclose a client’s personal information to a referred professional unless the client specifically authorizes us to do so.

9. Consumer Claim Documentation & Client-Directed Correspondence

Jackson & Companies may provide Consumer Claim Documentation and Client-Directed Correspondence services.

These services may include organizing client-provided records, creating factual chronologies, identifying and summarizing documented losses supplied by the client, preparing exhibit or attachment indexes, formatting correspondence, and preparing a professional draft based on the client’s instructions.

The client determines the facts to be stated, the amount or resolution requested, any response deadline requested, and any escalation language the client wants included.

The client must review and approve the final correspondence before transmission.

These services do not include legal representation, settlement negotiation, determining whether a law was violated, deciding what legal claim exists, determining what damages a client is legally entitled to recover, or advising the client regarding legal strategy or remedies.

10. Optional Supporting Legal / Consumer-Protection Language

At the client’s request, correspondence may include general supporting language referring to applicable Florida or federal consumer-protection requirements, reservation of rights or remedies under applicable law, or the client’s stated intent to consider appropriate consumer, regulatory, or legal escalation if a matter remains unresolved.

Specific statutes, regulations, rules, Acts, contractual provisions, or other legal authorities may be included when the client supplies the citation or wording, requests its inclusion, or otherwise approves the language for transcription or formatting.

Jackson & Companies does not independently determine that a particular statute, Act, rule, regulation, or legal authority applies to a client’s facts and does not provide an individualized legal opinion regarding the meaning, applicability, or effect of legal authority.

11. Administrative Transmission of Client Correspondence

After the client reviews and approves the final correspondence and attachments, Jackson & Companies may, at the client’s express request, transmit the approved materials by email, mail, certified mail, courier, or another approved delivery method as an administrative service.

Administrative transmission may include preparing a professional transmittal email, naming and organizing attachments, attaching client-approved supporting records, copying the client on the communication when appropriate, and maintaining a record of transmission.

Transmission by Jackson & Companies does not mean that Jackson & Companies represents the client as an attorney, legal representative, claims adjuster, settlement negotiator, or advocate.

Substantive responses, settlement decisions, acceptance or rejection of offers, and legal decisions remain the responsibility of the client unless handled by an appropriately licensed professional.

12. Client Review, Approval & Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information and for reviewing all prepared documents, applications, correspondence, enrollment selections, and other information before signing, submitting, filing, transmitting, or approving them.

For Client-Directed Correspondence, the client is responsible for confirming the accuracy of facts, dates, amounts, requested resolution, recipient information, attachments, deadlines, and any supporting legal or consumer-protection language before final approval.

For insurance applications and enrollment services, applicants are responsible for reviewing and confirming application responses, personal information, coverage selections, and other information before authorizing submission.

Jackson & Companies may require written, electronic, or signed approval before transmitting documents, applications, correspondence, or attachments.

13. Mortgage Guidance & Education Services

Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services may provide Mortgage Guidance & Education Services designed to help consumers better understand mortgage readiness, the homebuying process, commonly requested documentation, budgeting and credit-readiness concepts, down payment assistance resources, general loan types, mortgage timelines, and other general homeownership-preparation topics.

Services may include:

• Credit Education for Mortgage Readiness

• Referrals to mortgage, real estate, housing, or other professionals when appropriate

Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services does not originate, broker, approve, underwrite, fund, or negotiate mortgage loans.

Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services does not accept or process mortgage loan applications, establish or quote loan terms or interest rates, make underwriting or lending decisions, issue mortgage preapprovals, or make commitments to lend.

Mortgage Guidance & Education Services are provided for general educational and informational purposes and do not constitute mortgage loan origination, mortgage brokerage, credit approval, underwriting, financial advice, legal advice, or a commitment to lend.

Loan programs, interest rates, underwriting standards, credit requirements, qualification criteria, down payment assistance eligibility, approval decisions, and final loan terms are determined by the applicable licensed lender, mortgage broker, loan originator, program administrator, or other authorized professional.

Jackson & Companies does not guarantee mortgage eligibility, prequalification, preapproval, loan approval, interest rates, loan terms, down payment assistance eligibility, closing, or any other mortgage-related outcome.

When appropriate, Jackson & Companies may provide general referral information for independent mortgage, real estate, housing, or other professionals. Clients remain free to select any provider of their choice.

Any NMLS identification displayed for Kianté Jackson reflects individual professional mortgage-industry credentials/background and does not represent Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services as a mortgage broker or mortgage lender.

14. Insurance Application & Enrollment Assistance

Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services may provide Insurance Application & Enrollment Assistance within the scope of applicable individual insurance licensing, appointment, carrier authorization, and Florida law.

Depending upon licensing, appointment, authorization, carrier availability, and the requested service, assistance may include general discussion of available coverage options, explanation of applicable insurance information, application assistance, enrollment assistance, administrative follow-up, and assistance entering applicant-provided information through an authorized insurance carrier, agency, or enrollment platform.

Insurance services may involve available health, dental, vision, fixed indemnity, or other insurance products when Jackson & Companies is appropriately licensed, appointed, and authorized to provide assistance with the applicable product.

Applicants are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful information and for reviewing all application responses, coverage selections, premiums, benefits, limitations, exclusions, effective dates, and other applicable information before authorizing submission or enrollment.

Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services is not an insurance carrier.

Jackson & Companies does not independently issue insurance policies, establish premiums, determine final eligibility, make underwriting decisions, establish coverage benefits or exclusions, determine policy effective dates, or make claim-payment decisions.

Insurance products, premiums, benefits, eligibility criteria, underwriting requirements when applicable, policy terms, limitations, exclusions, effective dates, and availability are determined by the applicable insurance carrier and may be subject to change.

Insurance Application & Enrollment Assistance does not guarantee acceptance, enrollment, eligibility, a particular premium, coverage level, policy issuance, effective date, benefit, or payment of any future claim.

Insurance-related services will only be provided when the individual providing those services holds the licensing, appointment, and authorization required for the applicable transaction.

Any Florida insurance license identification displayed for Kianté Jackson reflects her individual professional insurance licensure and does not represent Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services as an insurance carrier.

15. I-9 Employment Verification

Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services accepts I-9 Employment Verification service requests from individual employees, new hires, remote workers, and employers.

When completing the employer/authorized representative portion of Form I-9, Jackson & Companies acts only as an authorized representative designated or permitted by the employer.

Form I-9 verification is not a notarial act, does not require notarization, and no notary seal is used.

Jackson & Companies does not determine employment eligibility, select which acceptable documents an employee must present, provide immigration services or advice, or provide legal advice.

16. Apostille Facilitation Services

Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services provides Apostille Facilitation Services and does not issue apostilles or authentications.

Apostilles and authentications are issued by the appropriate state or federal governmental authority.

Processing requirements and timelines may vary based on the document, issuing jurisdiction, destination country, governmental agency, and circumstances outside our control.

We cannot guarantee governmental approval or a specific processing or delivery date.

Government fees, certified copies, notarizations, translations, shipping, courier services, expedited processing, or other third-party expenses may be charged separately when applicable.

17. B2B Freelance Administrative Support Services

Jackson & Companies may provide professional back-office administrative support to law firms, real estate professionals, mortgage companies, insurance agencies, healthcare practices, and other business offices on an as-needed, project-based, temporary, or recurring basis.

Services may include client or customer intake administration, scheduling, file and document organization, document formatting, routine correspondence support, CRM or database updates, billing administration, records follow-up, data entry, scanning, indexing, and other administrative tasks accepted in writing.

B2B / Independent Service Provider. These services are offered as a business-to-business independent service arrangement. A completed IRS Form W-9 may be provided to accepted business clients upon request.

The parties may state their intent to create an independent contractor relationship; however, labels, invoices, a W-9, or tax reporting do not by themselves determine worker classification. The actual relationship and applicable law control.

Availability and Scheduling. Jackson & Companies accepts assignments subject to availability. A business client may request tasks, deadlines, priorities, deliverables, and reasonable security or coordination requirements, but no continuous employee-style availability, minimum weekly hours, exclusivity, or fixed schedule is guaranteed unless specifically accepted in writing.

Recurring support blocks and on-site coverage must be separately confirmed.

Client Direction, Access, and Security. The business client is responsible for providing accurate instructions, authorized contacts, lawful system access, appropriate permission levels, and applicable workplace, confidentiality, privacy, and cybersecurity requirements.

Passwords and highly sensitive credentials should not be transmitted through ordinary email, text message, or public website forms.

Access may be limited or suspended if secure access cannot be established.

Law Firms and Legal Offices. Administrative or legal-support work for a law firm is provided to the law firm and, where required, under the direction and supervision of a licensed attorney.

Jackson & Companies does not independently provide legal advice, legal strategy, legal representation, or professional legal judgment to the law firm’s clients.

The law firm remains responsible for supervision, conflicts, professional judgment, privilege and confidentiality determinations, filing authority, and any client notice or consent required by applicable professional rules.

Healthcare Practices and PHI. If a healthcare client is a HIPAA covered entity or business associate and the requested service requires Jackson & Companies to create, receive, maintain, or transmit protected health information on the client’s behalf, the parties must execute an appropriate Business Associate Agreement or other required written arrangement before PHI access.

Jackson & Companies does not make a blanket representation that ordinary email, public web forms, or every third-party platform used in its business is appropriate for PHI.

Mortgage, Insurance, and Real Estate Offices. Administrative support is limited to clerical, ministerial, or otherwise lawfully delegable functions unless a separate written scope confirms that an activity requiring a license, appointment, declaration, association, supervision, or company authorization may lawfully be performed.

B2B administrative support does not by itself authorize mortgage loan origination, insurance solicitation or binding, real-estate negotiation, or other regulated activity.

Confidentiality and Work Product. Jackson & Companies will use client confidential information only as reasonably necessary for the accepted service and will follow written confidentiality or security obligations accepted for the engagement.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, completed client-specific work product prepared and paid for under an engagement may be used by the business client for its business purposes, while Jackson & Companies retains ownership of its pre-existing templates, methods, forms, and general know-how.

No Guaranteed Outcome. Administrative support is intended to assist office operations and does not guarantee business growth, revenue, approval, closing, coverage, filing acceptance, legal outcome, clinical outcome, regulatory result, or any other specific result.

18. Quotes, Deposits & Payments

Quotes are based on the information available at the time they are provided and may change if the scope, document volume, urgency, travel requirements, third-party expenses, or circumstances of the requested service change.

When a deposit is required, the deposit is due upon acceptance of the quote unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Acceptance of a quote does not waive a required deposit merely because the deposit was not submitted at the same time.

Any outstanding required deposit remains due before services are performed or completed.

Remaining balances are due according to the invoice, quote, booking terms, or service agreement.

19. Payment & Fees

All fees are due at the time stated in the quote, invoice, booking confirmation, or service agreement.

Services may be billed as flat-rate packages, individual services, consultations, add-ons, document-volume charges, transmission charges, rush fees, travel fees, or third-party expenses.

Payments may be required before document delivery, application processing, transmission, appointment confirmation, or other service completion.

Due to the customized nature of certain services, fees may become nonrefundable once work has commenced, subject to applicable law and the refund provisions below.

20. Refunds

Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the service performed, work already completed, time incurred, expenses paid, and circumstances of the request.

Fees already paid to government agencies, insurance carriers or enrollment platforms when applicable, shipping providers, couriers, vendors, postage services, or other third parties may be nonrefundable.

No refund is guaranteed unless required by applicable law or expressly provided in writing.

21. SMS Terms of Service

By opting into SMS through a web form or other medium, you agree to receive SMS messages from Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services related to conversations, appointments, service updates, or other requested communications.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance.

22. User Responsibilities

Clients and website users agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information; use the website and services only for lawful purposes; avoid impersonating another person or misrepresenting an affiliation; and review prepared documents, applications, enrollment information, correspondence, and other materials before approval, signature, filing, submission, or transmission.

Clients are responsible for providing required identification, supporting records, deadlines, recipient information, application information, and instructions applicable to the requested service.

Jackson & Companies is not responsible for errors, omissions, missed deadlines, rejection, denial, or delays resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, untimely, or misleading information supplied by a client or third party.

23. Supporting Documents & Attachments

Clients are responsible for identifying the documents and attachments they want included with any correspondence, application, submission, or other service.

Jackson & Companies may organize, label, rename, scan, or assemble client-provided attachments as an administrative service.

The client is responsible for confirming that attachments are accurate, complete, appropriate for disclosure, and authorized for transmission.

Clients should avoid providing unnecessary sensitive information.

24. No Guarantee of Outcome

Jackson & Companies cannot guarantee that a business, insurer, insurance carrier, claims department, lender, mortgage professional, government agency, employer, court, regulator, financial institution, foreign authority, program administrator, or other recipient will respond, approve an application, provide financing, issue coverage, issue reimbursement, offer a settlement, approve a request, reverse a decision, accept a filing, or provide any particular outcome.

Preparation, education, guidance, organization, application assistance, enrollment assistance, transmission, referral, or follow-up assistance does not guarantee a response or result.

25. Testimonials Disclaimer

Testimonials, reviews, and client comments reflect individual experiences.

Results vary, and no testimonial or statement on our website or materials should be interpreted as a guarantee of mortgage approval, insurance coverage, enrollment, refund, settlement, reimbursement, response time, filing acceptance, or any other outcome.

26. Appointment Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients should provide reasonable notice when cancelling or rescheduling appointments.

For mobile notary appointments or other scheduled services, at least 24 hours’ notice may be required when stated in the applicable booking terms.

Deposits, travel charges, completed work, consultations already performed, document preparation already performed, government fees, courier expenses, postage, third-party expenses, and other costs already incurred may be nonrefundable where permitted by law and disclosed to the client.

27. Confidentiality & Privacy

Client information and documents are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Depending on the requested service, clients may provide records containing personal, financial, medical, insurance, mortgage-readiness, account, claim, identification, employment, household, or other sensitive information.

Clients authorize disclosure of information and attachments only as reasonably necessary to perform the requested service and as directed or approved by the client, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

28. Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, original text, graphics, logos, forms, and business materials created by Jackson & Companies are the property of Jackson & Companies Professional Services, LLC unless otherwise stated and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission except as permitted by law.

29. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jackson & Companies Professional Services, LLC DBA Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or services.

Jackson & Companies is not responsible for legal outcomes, court decisions, lender decisions, mortgage approvals or denials, insurer or carrier decisions, underwriting decisions, coverage determinations, regulatory responses, third-party delays, client-supplied errors, or the client’s use of prepared documents or information.

To the extent permitted by law, any liability is limited to the amount paid to Jackson & Companies for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

30. Limitation / Refusal of Services

Jackson & Companies reserves the right to decline, limit, pause, or discontinue a service when:

• The requested work would violate applicable law, professional requirements, licensing limitations, appointment restrictions, carrier requirements, or company policy;

• Necessary information, payment, authorization, identification, or documentation has not been provided;

• The service requested is outside the accepted scope;

• The requested activity requires a licensed attorney, mortgage broker or lender, insurance carrier, or other licensed or authorized professional outside the scope of services Jackson & Companies is permitted to provide; or

• Other circumstances reasonably prevent lawful or appropriate completion of the service.

31. Website Information & Disclaimer of Warranties

Information presented on the website is provided for general informational purposes and should not be interpreted as legal, immigration, tax, financial, mortgage-origination, insurance, or other professional advice outside the scope of a service specifically offered under an applicable professional license or authorization.

Mortgage-related educational content does not constitute mortgage loan origination, brokerage, underwriting, approval, or lending.

Insurance-related information is subject to applicable licensing, appointment, carrier authorization, policy terms, eligibility requirements, and Florida law.

The website and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee that website content will always be complete, error-free, uninterrupted, or current.

32. Third-Party Links & Service Providers

33. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Any dispute concerning these Terms or services shall be addressed in an appropriate court or forum having jurisdiction in Manatee County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

34. Modifications to Terms

Jackson & Companies may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in services, business practices, professional licensing, technology, regulatory requirements, or other circumstances.

Updated Terms will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.

The version in effect when a service is requested will govern unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.

35. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable quote, invoice, intake form, consultation acknowledgment, authorization, service-specific disclosure, Industry-Specific Notice, service agreement, and Privacy Policy, constitute the agreement between the client and Jackson & Companies concerning the requested service unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

36. General Non-Attorney / Licensed-Service / Third-Party Acknowledgment

Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services is a non-attorney document preparation service and is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, legal opinions, or legal strategy.

If a matter requires legal guidance, clients should consult a licensed attorney. Upon request, Jackson & Companies may provide general contact information for independent attorneys or other professionals for the client’s consideration.

Mortgage Guidance & Education Services are educational in nature and do not constitute mortgage loan origination, brokerage, underwriting, approval, or lending. Any NMLS identification displayed for Kianté Jackson reflects individual professional mortgage-industry credentials/background and does not represent Jackson & Companies Notary DocuPrep Services as a mortgage broker or mortgage lender.
