Janae teaches students ages 7-70 with the Piano Adventures Method Books. She believes in a well-rounded education for her students; focusing on technique, sightreading, challenging pieces, music theory and other creative skills including improvisation, harmonization, transposition, lead sheet, playing by ear, and composition.

Janae is a member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) and UMTA (Utah Music Teachers Association). As a part of these group, she learns how to better teach her students and improve her studio.
